As part of its weekly programs of music and dance, Shilparamam is presenting a Carnatic vocal recital by Valiveti Swathi Sri Lasya, on 6th January. Accompanying her will be Anil on the tabla and Nagaraj on the casio.
Lasya will be singing some Annamacharya keertanas, Ramadas keertanas and Thyagaraja keertanas, such as Choodarammu Sakhilara in Madhyamavati ragam, Oka Pari Kokapari in Karaharapriya ragam, Endariki Abhayambu in Shankarabharana ragam, Seetamma Mayamma in Vasantha ragam, Tava Sara Samarai in Kuntala Varali ragam, Sogasu Kalanidhiki in Lalitha ragam and Sri Rama Nee Nama Ento Ruchi Ra in Kasi ragam.
Sri Lasya is a 12-year-old, 7th class student of Gemini Children's Academy in Guntur. She has been a disciple of Nerella Shanthi for the last five years. She has performed at many cultural venues in Guntur, and is performing in Hyderabad for the first time.
