The Andhra Pradesh Film Journalists Association (AFJA) has been giving the AFJA film awards for the past 38 years to the best of artists, directors, lyricists, cinematographers, playback singers, choreographers and story writers. Many great actors and directors like Raj Kapoor, Dharmendra, Shammi Kapoor, Pran and Sanjeev Kumar have received this award.
Like we said, for 37 years these awards were given to the Hindi film industry alone, but from last year they are being given to the Telugu film industry too. The list of winners for this year's AFJA awards is as follows:
