Isn't that what obstetricians and gynecologists do anyway? Well, here they are implementing it within their own sorority. The Federation of Obstetric and Gynecological Society of India (FOGSI) - and here's a name that seems to have been taken on so there's a good acronym - and the Obstetric and Gynaecological Society of Hyderabad are jointly conducting the first annual 'FOGSI- Catch Them Young' conference. The objective of this meet, 'Jyotsna-2001', is to promote young members of the faculty and update them with the latest advances in medical technology.
A workshop on medical termination of pregnancy will be held on the inaugural day of the conference, with focus on 'safe abortion'. A public forum on 'AIDS And Its Awareness' will be held on the second day of the meet.
