Aakruthi is one of the reputed technical symposia in the country conducted every year by the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering of the University College of Engineering, Osmania University. This year's edition, Aakruthi 2007, is being held on 17th & 18th February.
The festival has had longstanding recognition in the engineering and industrial arena. This confluence of young engineers and corporate and faculty experts has over the years attracted the best talent from across the length and breadth of the country, providing it a platform for further development in future. The paper presentation contest gives you an opportunity to present your ideas to add value to technology. It gives you a platform to present your white paper, and discuss the ideas with academia and industry. There is no restriction on the topics for the paper presentation except that they should reflect the latest trends in the field of Electronics and Communication.
Pradarshana
This poster and project exhibition gives one a platform to display hardware implemention projects. It is about innovative ideas.
Sikshana
An event where the student has an opportunity to interact with the finest in academia and industry. Prof V U Reddy, Chief Scientist, Hellosoft India Pvt Ltd, will be there for interaction.
Trishna
This technical quiz contest will test awareness in the realm of technology.
Krithi
The objective of the event is to design a circuit using the available components, in the given time limit.
Narthana
An entertainment zone that includes group and solo dancing - both film and classical - singing, theater and, before winding up, the final blast by Hendrix, the rock band.
