Do you know what the second greatest use that bricks are put to is? Here's your chance to meet a lot of persons who think that it is actually the greatest use.
On the occasion of Children's Day and the 16th anniversary of Yamaguchi Karate in Hyderabad, Yamaguchi Karate International and the YMCA, Narayanaguda, are jointly organizing martial arts championships. The purpose is to create awareness of the martial arts, and to encourage school children and expose them to tournaments. Another reason for conducting this event is to promote a spirit of fraternity among school children and promote this exciting art of self-defence among them.
The tournament has been organized 4 times now. An entry fee of Rs. 100 per item (Sparring, Weapons, Katas, etc.) will be charged towards the cost of the certificates, mementos and other expenditure for organizing the championship.
All the Dojos (that's the lingo for martial art schools) from the city are welcome to participate in this mega event. Grand Master R K Krishna, 6th Dan black belt, will be the main judge for the event.
The event schedule is as follows:

11th November 2001
