Mon Oncle d'Amerique - French Film

Three destinies - that of a journalist who is the news chief of a radio station, that of a farmer's son who is restrained from working in the textile industry, which itself is in a flux, and that of a working man's daughter who has become a stylist - intermingle in a counterpoint with theories formulated in the laboratory of Prof. Laborit, biologist and analyst of the behavior of rats and men living in society.

Directed by Alain Resnais, starring Gerard Depardieu, Nicole Garcia, Roger Pierre, Marie Dubois, Nelly Borgeaud, Pierre Adriti and Prof. Henri Laborit, Mon Oncle D'Amerique is an allegorical fantasy.
