If there was a competition about who'd get there earliest, then there's no disputing
won it. About the food, we'll, if it weren't so friggin' expensive at either place,
we'd have told you about that too.
The Taj Residency is hosting a food festival called Goa - Live & Kickin' for a
13-day period, with a variety of Goan vegetarian (for a change) food to enable
you experience Goan cuisine. That's the second in a row, after the
ITC Fest that is still on or just ended depending on when you're reading this.
The chefs have been flown in (just as in the first movers' case) from Fort Aguada Beach Resort for this festival. To entertain you while you are eating, there will be folk dances by Allegria, a Goan troupe, Wendell Gray, the fiery fire-eater, and a limbo dancer (the 15th onwards). There is also a free mug of Kingfisher Draught Beer or two glasses of Figueira Port Wine, and Lipton Ice Tea as compliments.
The list of items on offer is unending. There is a lucky draw, and the lucky ones can win a free trip to Goa (to and fro air tickets and stay for a couple at the Fort Aguada Beach Resort for 3 nights / 4days).
