Workshop on Biotechnology

The TKR College of Engineering and Technology is organising a 2-day national level workshop on 'Recent Advances in Biotechnology' from Feb 18th aimed at providing a forum for students, teachers, scientists and managers of research organisations to take make a detailed analysis of the latest developments in the field of biotechnology.

The delegates of the workshop will be from various companies, laboratories, research institutes, government organizations, engineering colleges and schools. Eminent scientists and research scholars from the field of Biotechnology will present papers on their respective fields of research and also put forward views on the latest emerging trends in the field. The faculty of various engineering colleges and students will also take part in this event and an active interaction session is planned for 19th where the latest developments will be discussed. This 2-day event will be presided over by Dr. P. K. Reddy - former Dean, Life Sciences Institute of Hyderabad and the current Director of Pacific Hospitals. The workshop will also feature cultural events organised by the students at the closing ceremony.
