REVIEW FOR THEATER WORKSHOP BY VAISHALI...

Vaishali Bisht is conducting a basic theatre workshop for children in the age group of 6-12, from 6th July onwards, only on weekends, at Road No. 8, Banjara Hills. The workshop focuses on using drama for the personality development of the children. Through some games and exercises, Bisht is going to train children on overcoming shyness, instability, fear and tension. She will also train them in communication skills and mental stability, which will help them with their personality, and provide them with a basic understanding of movement, expressions and dialogue delivery.

Training will be on topics like physical expression, projection of voice, dialogue delivery, use of physical objects, role play of characters, and using theatre as a forum. The duration of the workshop is 24 classes, and there are two batches: one from 10am to 12pm, and the other from 2:30pm to 4:30pm.

Vaishali Bisht Children Theatre Art came into existence in 2000. Bisht is a degree holder in theatre arts from the University of Kent, England. She has conducted many workshops till date for children. She has also directed, acted in and written many plays.
