24th Annual Open Under-14 Boys & Girls Chess Tournament

The YMCA Of Greater Hyderabad (Narayanaguda) is organising the 24th Annual Open Chess Tournament for Under-14 Boys & Girls, on 14th, 16th & 17th August, at the YMCA Narayanaguda Hall. A popular chess tournament, this one sees more than 200 players participate every year.

The tournament will be conducted on a Swiss format as per the FIDE rules, with two hours of playing session for each game, one hour for each player, as per the Gulitin system. The total number of rounds will be declared after the first round.

Any player under the age of 14 can participate in this tournament by paying the registration fee of Rs. 75. The games will start at 5pm, and a grace time of only 30 minutes will be allowed for latecomers.
