Calcutta needed decades of Left to get the right cisine!
The Deccan Pavilion Coffee Shop at the ITC Hotel Kakatiya Sheraton is organising a 10-day Calcutta food festival starting from today. This festival aims at bringing a mix of both the traditional and the contemporary cuisines from the dimly lit streets of Calcutta to the Nawabi city.
This cuisine is a pot pourri of Portuguese, English, Dutch, Chinese, and the food of the local settlers. The all time favorites like Shoal Maacher Jhaal, Dhoi Maach, Chingri Malai Curry and a wide variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian delicacies will be available for the dinner buffet.
