The emperor arrives in town to bind you with his ageless voice.
The twin-cities, Hyderabad and Secunderabad, are known for their love of the Urdu Poetry in general, and ghazals in particular. To rekindle the spirit, the Banyan Tree is bringing the renowned ghazal singer, Janab Ghulam Ali Saheb, in a special concert today at the Viceroy Convention Hotel.
This event is also being supported by by GMR (Hyderabad International Airport Limited, coming up in 2008), Ninaad Music, and the Viceroy Hotel. Ghulam Ali's love for Hyderabad is very deep because it was also the favourite city of his Guru Ustad Bade Ghulam Ali Khan.
