A program organised by S S Music Academy on the occasion of Sadguru Thyagaraja's 238th jayanthi, Swara Nirajanam will feature prominent carnatic music maestro, G V Prabhakar, and the students of the Academy. They will pay a tribute to Thyagaraya by performing his devotional classics including the Pancharatna Kirthanas.
The chief guest of this function is C V Padmanabhan, IRS, Retd. Chief Commissioner of Income Tax. The head of this function is Puranam Purushottama Sastry, Sangeetha Vidwan and Hansa Award winner. The guest of honour will be K R Subrahmanyam and V Anand Mohan, both accomplished teachers of music.
