The mechanical engineering department of Vasavi Engineering College is organising a National Conference On Advances In Mechanical Engineering.

This conference is aimed at bringing together researchers, the academia and industry in an effort to bridge the gap between different functional areas of mechanical engineering, create a common platform for interaction, pave the way for new ideas and innovations, and build systems and technologies for the future. It will also open up new avenues and various possibilities in the emerging areas of Virtual Reality, Robotics, MEMS, CFD, CAD/CAM, MRP and JIT.

A total of about 200 delegates are expected to attend the conference. Dr. G Madhusudhan Reddy of DMRL (Defence Material Research Laboratories) and Sundararajan, the General Manager of Rane Engine Valves, will grace the gathering.

There will also be an exhibition of mechanical & production engineering equipment, of consumables and of software organisations.
