Some people say that watching women play tennis is much more fun than watching them play cricket. We wonder why. Is it because tennis ends faster? Is it because tennis is an individual event? Is it because tennis is more difficult? Or are we simply not able to understand? Well, the point is, it's not fair to the women cricket players. So this week, try and patronize this.
The Hyderabad Cricket Association is organising the South Zone Inter-State Women's Cricket Tournament, from 28th November to 3rd December, in which six South-Indian teams - Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Goa, Tamil Nadu and Kerala - are participating. All the matches will be played in the league format, where every team gets to play the other 5 teams, as per schedule given below:
28th November - 1st Round

Andhra Vs Tamil Nadu at RRC-I grounds
Karnataka Vs Kerala at ECIL grounds
29th November - 2nd Round
Hyderabad Vs Tamil Nadu at ECIL grounds

Karnataka Vs Goa at RRC-I grounds
30th November - 3rd Round

1st December - 4th Round

All the matches above will be played only during the days, starting at 9:00AM. The top two teams will play for the championship, the date of which will be decided later.
