Scrabble Workshop: Events in Hyderabad

REVIEW FOR SCRABBLE WORKSHOP

The Saptaparini Organisation is conducting a scrabble workshop for children studying in classes between the 1st and the 9th standard. This workshop is being conducted to enhance their vocabulary, and also to train them for the National Scrabble Championship, which is held every year in December, at Banglore.

This course is being organised by the ex-champion of the National Scrabble Championship, Louis, who is from the Nagar School. B R Damaraj, who was the second runner up at the National Scrabble Championship, is also involved in the project. Adults who are interested in Scrabble can also take part in this workshop. The children will also be taught fun-poetry, limericks, essays and spellings.

This workshop will be held every Saturday. Those interested can take a monthly membership of Rs. 300. which will ensure their participation in all four classes in a month. These classes are also being conducted at the YMCA Complex at SP Road, Secunderabad. The classes at this venue start at 3:00 pm and end at 6:00 pm every Saturday.
