If you're sick of the city's hustle and bustle, take a walk down the countryside with Narendranath. Logisetty Narendranath . His oil on canvas paintings and graphic prints are renowned for their naturality and depictive messages.
He's chosen to exhibit his oil on canvas paintings and graphic prints with the theme "Rural Life Style" depicting various messages on the life of rural population of India. Narendranath is among those, who believe that India is in the villages and art comes alive here.
He travels extensively to the countryside to give that real punch into his paintings. The collection, currently under-exhibition at Lakshana Art Gallery are only a few of his treasures.
A Bachelor of Arts from Osmania University, he chose to complete a course in Intermediate Drawing from Maharashtra due to keen interest in in the art.
Narendranath is a veteran whose paintings have participated in All India Art Exhibitions held at New Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Mumbai, Kolkata, Amritsar and other parts of the country. He also held art shows in Kala Bhavan at Hyderabad in 1975, 1993 & 1998, Kala Academy at Goa in 1976, Hyderabad Art Society in 1982 & 1983, Jehangir Art Gallery at Mumbai in 1985 & 1997, in addition to various group shows in New Delhi, Mumbai and Hyderabad.
He's received innumerable awards for his devotion, a notable few from The Andhra Pradesh Lalit Kala Academy in 1978 & 1985, Chitra Kala Parishad, Visakhapatnam in 1978, Maha Koshal Parishad in Madhya Pradesh in 1978, AIFACS State Award in New Delhi in 1997, Hyderabad Art Society in 1977 to 79 & 1981, and also a National Award from All India Fine Arts and Crafts Society, New Delhi in the year 1997. He's organized painting camps in Hyderabad, New Delhi, Bikaner in Rajasthan, Hampi in Karnataka, and other parts of India.
