Inter-College Badminton Tournament: Events in Hyderabad

REVIEW FOR INTER-COLLEGE BADMINTON TOURNAMENT

These shuttlers are out to change India's drought at 2012 in London, if not at 2008 in Beijing itself. Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology is organizing an Inter-College Badminton Tournament for Men at its indoor stadium in Gandipet.

When Prakash Padukone and Gopichand started, Badminton was considered a pass-time game in India and there were few takers to this game. But thankfully, today, sports is a serious business.

The participating teams for this event are, Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology, Badruka (Day) College, OU Commerce, Viveka Vardhini Day College, OU Arts College, Arora Degree College, OU Engineering College, S P College, M V S R Engineering College, Vasavi Engineering College, St Mary's College, Nizam College, Bhavan's Sainikpuri, Amjad Ali Khan College of Business Management, Wesley College, Arora PG College, Indian Institute of Management & Commerce, Government District College (Khairatabad), OU Technology College, OU Law College, MJ Engineering College, PG College (Secunderabad), David Memorial College, OU College of Science, A.V.College

Here are the rules which you gotta play by:-

Eligibility forms and latest identity cards have to be handed over to the Organising Secretary atleast 30 minutes before the commencement of the match.

All teams should report at 10.30 am at CBIT (Gandipet).

Each team should consist of 4 players.

There will be two singles and one double match. Teams have to share the shuttle cocks for their matches.
