The Taj Banjara is bringing AlterEgoz, the band specializing in rock, pop, jazz and reggae music, this evening to Underdeck, its pub. The members of the band are successful people having their own careers, and the unifying factor is music.
The band collectively has more than 15 years of performing experience, and has been through many reincarnations in keeping with the trends. It started off as 'Katalog' in 1986, and reformed as 'Zeus' in 1990. It continued as 'Zeus' till it changed to '40-Year Itch' in 2000, and concentrated predominantly on the musical trends of the 50s and 60s music. It became 'AlterEgoz' in 2001, and has been inspired by the newer trends in music (a shift back to rock, blues, alternative and reggae).
This evening Lokhi, Vijay and Anshu on the guitars, Badri on the drums, and Ajay and Bhargavi on vocals will present a musical night called Rock 'N' Roll.
