Daira is organizing a weeklong group show of paintings, drawings and graphics by G Ranga Reddy, Pandurang Rao Salone, D Ananthaiah, M Balraj and Bairu Raghuram. Padmasri Jagdish Mittal will inaugurate the show on the evening of the 25th.
The display will basically be the paintings of Indian ethnic (tribal) ensemble. Artist Ranga Reddy's display of paintings will mainly focus on tribal/folk, whereas Ananthaiah is a print maker, and he, along with his colleague Bairu Raghuram, will display works that focus on cowherds at work, rocks forms and animals. Pandurang Rao Salone's work is on female forms, and Balraj's is on woodcut.
