The Hyderabad Cricket Association is organising the under-25 cricket tournament for the P S Ram Mohan Rao trophy, from 20th to 26th February, at various city grounds. Teams of the six southern states of the country - Hyderabad, Andhra, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala and Goa - are participating, as per schedules given below:
20th February
Hyderabad Vs Goa at Rajiv Gandhi Intl. Cricket Stadium
Andhra Vs Tamil Nadu at Gymkhana Grounds
Karnataka Vs Kerala at AOC Grounds
21st February
Hyderabad Vs Tamil Nadu at Rajiv Gandhi Intl. Cricket Stadium
Andhra Vs Kerala at Gymkhana Grounds
Karnataka Vs Goa at AOC Grounds
23rd February
Hyderabad Vs Andhra at Rajiv Gandhi Intl. Cricket Stadium
Karnataka Vs Tamil Nadu at Gymkhana Grounds
Goa Vs Kerala at AOC Grounds
24th February
Hyderabad Vs Kerala at Rajiv Gandhi Intl. Cricket Stadium

All the matches will be played in the league format, with each team playing five matches. The winner will be decided by the total tally of points (the wins:losses ratio). The final winner will be awarded the P S Ram Mohan Rao trophy, and gains entry to the national tournament to be held next month, in which the other zonal winners from Central, East and West zones clash again for the overall championship.
