On the occasion of the 164th birth anniversary of saint Thyagaraja, as well as the 34th anniversary of the Samithi, Vignana Samithi is organising its Annual Thyagaraja Aradhana Music Festival from 24th to 30th January at the Anand Nagar Community Hall, Khairatabad. The 8-day long festival will feature both senior and junior artistes performing everyday, as below:
24th January

Vignana Samithi, which is in its 34th year of existence, tries to propagate classical music by organising music concerts every month. It provides a platform for upcoming artistes by giving them opportunities to perform, and at the same time, gets senior artistes to perform and conduct workshops. Many senior artistes have performed for the organisation including Dr. Balamurali Krishna, the Malladi Brothers, the Hyderabad Brothers and Sankaranarayanan.
