The Great Kabab Factory is organising an Awadhi Food Festival, from 1st to 31st January, at its restaurant on Road No. 12, Banjara Hills.
When it comes to Awadhi cuisine, one is lured by its spicy and succulent kababs, and true to its name, the festival at The Great Kabab Factory hosts a variety of kababs for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians.
The non-vegetarian menu includes a wide variety of kababs, including Kakori Kabab, Murg-E-Angaar, Til Tawe Ki Mahi, Zakhande Kabab, Zaafrani Murg Tikka, Mohajeer Chapli Kabab and Tandoori Champ. The vegetarian spread includes Subz Galouti Kebab, Pudina Paneer Tikka, Dahi Ke Kabab and Achari Paneer Tikka.
The main course includes Toor Dal, Dal Makhani and Malai Broccoli, which complements the Butter Rotis. There is Dum Biryani for both the vegetarians and non-vegetarians, Lucknowi Biryani, Warqui Paratha, Moong Ghosht, Kairi Ki Dal, Gosht Rizala, Tandoori Rotis, Phulkas and Rumali Rotis.
The desserts are, again, traditional, and typical Awadhi - Tila Kulfi on a stick, Gulab Jamun, Sheer Bhrunji and Kesari Ananas Halwa - all served in small blue matkas.
