REVIEW FOR HYDERABAD THEATRE & SHORT-FILM...

After successfully making its debut last year, the Hyderabad Theatre Festival is now in its 2nd outing, titled Hyderabad Theatre & Short-Film Festival. It has been scheduled for 19th to 25th July, at the Ravindra Bharathi auditorium. A total of 7 plays and 6 short films will be screened during the week-long festival:

19th July

20th July

7:30pm - Arthur Miller's "The Crucible", English play by Ingenium Dramatic

21st July

7:30pm - Sense, English-Hindi play by Sifar

Grace, Short film by Sampada Harkara

Bislery Bottle, Short film by Sri Chand

22nd July

7:30pm - Badal Sarkar's "Saari Raath", Hindi play by Udaan

23rd July

7:30pm - Samuel Beckett's "Waiting For Godot", English play by Nishumbita

24th July

7:30pm - Jumpa Lahari's "A Temporary Matter", English play by Expressions

Samahaara is a non-profit cultural society based in Hyderabad. For the last 6 years, it has been making efforts at taking theatre to the young minds of Hyderabad. The members include young working professionals and students.
