Photo Contest By Tourism Department is an event that took place on 27-Sep-2001 in Hyderabad.

It's easier to send the population on the hunt for beauty than do it ourselves,
the state has decided. So here's a search for missed moments and locations through
more eyes than ever before.

The Department of Tourism is organizing a tourism photo contest for the people of Andhra Pradesh. The contest is open to all and the photographs should effectively capture the culture, heritage, scenic beauty, crafts, tradition and people of the state.

Those interested in participating in this contest will have to send in five photographs (8" x 10") and the negatives with a caption, along with their names and addresses to this address:

The last date for submitting entries is 15th September, and the winners will be felicitated on 27th September, on the occasion of the World Tourism Day.
