Fashion designer Mukta Bajaj, and jewelry designer Charuu Sharma are presenting an exhibition-cum-sale of their Peacock Collection, at the store, Also.

Mukta Bajaj has designed ghagras and salwars for quite some time, and now she has decided to venture into the saree designing too. She runs a store called Perfection, at Somajiguda. This store is five years old, and has a wide range of collections of sarees, ghagras and salwar-kameez. The Peacock Collection will feature saris decked with embroidery, sequence work, Kundan, Bandhini, Parsi embroidery, coin work and metal work, and will also include some hand-painted saris. The saris are priced between Rs. 3,000 and Rs. 10,000.

Charuu Sharma is a reputed jewelry designer. She has presented her collection at the International Jewelry Exhibition, held at Dubai. She is also one of the suppliers of D'damas jewelry. This collection will feature Kundan, Polka and Navaratna jewelry, done in gold, diamonds and multi-coloured stones.

For all those ladies who find it difficult to find matching jewelry for their saris, this exhibition comes as a blessing. Here you can buy a sari and get your jewelry designed, and vice-versa.
