It's a well-known fact that kids find parents the least interesting teachers, but it will still be a jolt to your ego that your young ones find puppets better than you. Well, if you can't beat 'em you know what you should do, so here's a way to learn.
The Hyderabad Puppet Theater in association with Vooyala Communications is organizing 'Mento Puppet', a workshop and free training course for parents in educational puppetry, and for teachers dealing with mentally challenged students.
In this workshop the behavior pattern of students and the easy ways in which they understand through educational puppetry will be the prime topic. The workshop also deals with tension and stress relieving patterns for the parents while dealing with children.
The organizers feel that this workshop is unique, in the sense that nothing like this has been attempted here in the past. Prominent personalities from various fields have been invited to speak on topics related to the workshop on all days.
Every participant will get a participation certificate and a chance to participate in the painting competition to be held on the first day. The organizers will provide the required material. Participation is free at this workshop. The items made at this workshop, along with the students' drawings, will be displayed at the venue's huge library hall.
