This is one man you wouldn't want to get on the wrong side of. He routinely makes people disappear. Awarded the title of Jadoo Vibhooshan by Chaitanya Art Theaters and Mayajaala Ratna by the A P Magic Academy, this prolific magician and illusionist is going great guns. Some of his celebrated tricks are chopping people's heads off, making them sleep on swords, and tying them up before making them disappear with only the ropes left behind.
Greatly inspired by a roadside jugglery show, a young Marri underwent training under B V Pattabhiram, a well-known magician of the twin cities. As he trained for several years, his hobby grow into his profession, and the Assistant Executive Engineer in the Panchayat Raj Department has given about 3,500 performances in India and in some Middle-East countries over the past 15 years. He has been performing regularly in the Great Dubai Shopping Festival for the past 4 years.
Marri's performances are more glittery and lively than most magic shows that you've been to. There are usually a dozen persons attired in colorful costumes on stage, with Marri himself looking like a Maharaja.
Live music, lights and special effects add to the ambience, making the show vibrant. Today Marri will present some special illusion items like 3 ghosts, time and space, ford suspension, triangular box and the great escape. The tickets are available at Ravindra Bharathi between 2.00pm and 6.00pm, and the rates are Rs. 50 and Rs. 30 respectively.
Please call Marri Ramesh at 405-4488/405-4593 or 98480-62001 for further details.
