Some of the nicest moments of childhood are receiving a pat on the back from the teachers or the parents. Some things don't change with age, and even though adulthood brings in pay for performance, being told that you are good is what gives immense satisfaction. And here's an organization that's making the day of some artists who have dedicated several years to their art.
Aradhana is a cultural and literary organization which conducts programs for budding performers and honors deserving artists. And today this organization is felicitating six prominent personalities for excellence in their respective fields: B Bhanuprakash (social drama), K Muralikrishna (Carnatic music), Dharmavarapu Subramanyam (TV), Chokkapu Venkata Ramana (magic), Maddali Ushagayatri (dance) and B Nancharaiah (mythological drama).
A cash award will also be presented to Sri Venkateshwara Natya Mandali on the occasion for its continuous efforts towards the development of dance and for its dedication to training students.
An entertaining play titled 'Mayasabha Dwara' will be staged by Prithvi Venkateshwarulu, B Nanchariah and D Jagannadham on the occasion.
