The Sanchala School of Dance is organizing a Kuchipudi dance program by its students on 6th June, at Sri Thyagaraja Gana Sabha, Chikkadpally. The event starts at 6:30pm, and entry is free.
A wide array of items including Bhajare Manasa, Neela Megha Sareera (Tarangam), Chakkani Talliki Changubhala, Deva Devam Bhaje, Dolayam Chala Dolayam, Anni Mantramulu, Parama Purushudu and Vinaro Bhagyamu will be performed.
Peri Srirama Murthy, an A-top violinist and Principal of the Sri Bhakta Ramadasa Government College of Music & Dance, will be the chief guest for the occasion. The other guests are Madhavi, a popular TV artist; Prabha, a renowned TV producer; and Ashok Rao, a popular TV artist.
The Sanchala School of Dance was founded in 1983 by Padma Kalyani. It has successfully performed 1,200 programs since its inception, and has also trained 400 students in the art of Kuchipudi. Among them 50 students have also gone on to get certified by the Potti Sriramulu Telugu University.
