Nanduri Laxman Rao is organizing a musical program named Ghantasala Chaitanya Swara Sravanthi, from 3rd June to 8th June, in City Central Library, Chikkadpally. Hit solos and duets of the legendary singer will be presented by renowned and amateur singers of the city.
Laxman Rao, Bala Kameshwar Rao, Sharat Chandra, Jaishree and Sharada Reddy, among others, will sing various numbers like Paadutha Tiyyaga, Kalakanidhi Nijamainadhi, Kaanarara Kailasa Nivasa, Mukkoti Devathalu, Shilalapai Shilpalu Chekkinaaru, Kolu Koloyamma and Hello Darling Maatadava. As a part of this 6-day program, Laxman Rao is giving an opportunity to amateur and new singers to perform on stage along with the orchestra arranged by him. The timings of the program are 5:30pm to 9:30pm every day, and the entry is free for all.
Nanduri Laxman Rao is a renowned light music singer who has given many programs throughout the state. Out of his love towards old cine songs, he has organized many musical nites. By bringing in amateur artistes, he aims to bring out the hidden talent in the youth.
