The participants of the Acting Workshop organized by Sutradhar School of Acting are putting up a Hindi play KISI AUR KA SAPNA, written by Nand Kishore Acharya on Friday, February 25, 2005 at PRESS CLUB, BASHEER BAGH at 7pm and in the ROCK GALLERY of the STATE GALLERY OF FINE ARTS, MADHAPUR on Saturday, February 26, 2005 at 7 pm.
The story is about five amateur actors who want to put up a play, but each time, one particular actor gets emotional and comes out of his character. The play shows the travails and tribulations of a theater person. The script showcases the rebellious youth in each age, and also that truth is not digestible to those in power.
The play also reflects upon the fact that the youth have been taken for granted over the generations by politicians. The play is not a comedy, but the situations make the play humorous and makes one sit up and take notice. The Directors for the production were Prof. Bhaskar Shewalkar and Vinay Varma.
Entry for the combo-shows is by donations. Details can be had from Vinay Varma over 2322 6485 or 98480 52541.
