If they had the attitude for that, you'd assume that they wouldn't succumb in the first place. Well, religious leaders always have uphill tasks, and here's one who's come from across 3 seas to try.
The Guru Gobind Singh Study Circle, in association with Prabhandak Committee Gurudwara Saheb, Secunderabad, is organizing Kirtans and Katha Samagam at the Gurudwara Saheb.
The world renowned Gurmat Preacher, Veer Bhupinder Singh of the US, is arriving for the first time to participate in the program. He will highlight the teachings of the Sikh Gurus who stood for national integration and unity. Local preacher Bhai Sher Singh will render Gurbani Kirtans.
A seminar on 'The Sikh Youth of Today and Tomorrow - How to Brighten Their Future' will be organized on the same day at Tivoli Gardens. During the seminar, Veer Bhupinder Singh will talk on the degenerating traditions and values, and guide the Sikh youth to follow the right path.
The seminar and congregation will be followed by a free community lunch. Veer Bhupinder Singh will also participate in two other programs to be held at Guruwara Saheb, Ameerpet, and Gurudwara Singh Sabha, Afzulgunj, on the 27th.
