Shopping for kids is not easy, and more importantly, not legal. Buying things for them, however, is always fun, especially since they can be easily conned unlike their mothers. Here's where it's even cheaper.
The Institution of Engineers at Visweswaraya Bhavan, Khairatabad, is organising a Kids Expo from 27th to 29th April. The exhibition was inaugurated by Minister for Major Irrigation Ponnala Lakshmaiah.
A must-visit for both parents and children, the expo's main highlights are animation and educational CDs, toys, imported dental-care products, writing stationery, encyclopaedias, learning kits, kids' bedroom furniture sets, marker boards, flavored drinks and confectionary. The exhibitors include Apsara, Smithkline Beecham, Zee Interactive Classrooms and other local dealers and distributors.
There are various offers and discounts at the exhibition. One of them is by Apsara - on purchase of a kit containing six sets of pencil packs, erasers, sharpeners, rulers, crayons, oil pastels and color pencils worth Rs. 396, an attractive school bag worth Rs. 175 and a mini kit worth Rs. 99 are given free.
Also, a discount of 10% is being offered on CDs of all range. Sketch pens worth Rs. 15 are being given free on the purchase of imported Garfield toothpaste and toothbrush. There are other offers available, too.
The exhibition is on from 10:00am to 8:00pm everyday, and the entry is free. For further details, please contact 2330-3989/6666-7118.
