Gokul and Chandana Karan, a husband-wife duo, have a jewelry store in Banjara Hills that caters some creative designs of jewels to their clientele. They create the designs together, and what makes their jewelry look different is the antique look that they accord the traditional jewelry. They have craftsmen from Rajasthan, Cuttack, Tamil Nadu, Mahashtra and Gujarat execute the designs at their place.
The couple is organizing an exhibition at Taj Banjara for 3 days, where a whole range of kundan and meena jewelry, makarakanthi, javali mala, mirchoi mala, satlada of Basra pearls, champakali necklaces, naqshi bangles, Karan phool, maang ka tikka and others will be on display.
