The Megacity Navakala Vedika is organising a musical nite called Ghantasala Gana Lahari and an awards ceremony on the occasion of Vivekananda Jayanti, this Friday, at Sri Thyagaraya Gana Sabha. The program starts at 6:30pm with the musical nite, and will be followed by the awards presentation from 7:45pm. Old melodies of legendary playback singer Ghantasala will be sung by Nanduri Laxman Rao, Bala Kameshwara Rao and Padmini.

Eight eminent personalities who are experts in their fields have been chosen for the presentation of Vivekananda Visistha Puraskarams, as below:

Megacity Navakala Vedika was started by A Mallikarjuna Sarma in the year 1997. The association has till date organised more than a hundred programs, including dance, music, literary and other cultural programs. It has felicitated several personalities.
