They were probably laughed out of town for attempting to fly, but wherever they
are right now, the Wright Brothers must be enjoying a quiet chuckle. Celebrating
one hundred years of taking to the skies, is the Aeronautical Society of Hyderabad,
which hopes for the city to become an aviation hub in the years to come. There
will, of course, be seminars and talks and other things academic, but for one
whole day every participating company will exhibit their favorite pair of wings,
for your viewing pleasure.

Live missiles, aircrafts, sub-systems and other exhibits from leading aerospace programmes
will be on display. The idea is to get young people interested in a career with the Air Force. With enough of such events and the occasional Air Show, the idea might just work. After all, what better way to make a living than by having your head permanently among the clouds?
