Wanna know how it feels like to have fire in your mouth? Take a bite out of the Sichuan menu at the Festival of Flames. Fire in the kitchen, fire in your mouth, fire everywhere! Mainland China celebrates The Festival of Flames, the Sichuan Food Festival this month.
They're importing fresh Chengdu chillies right from Sichuan in Northern China to spice things up. These chillies are known to make even the tough guys sweat and cry.
But lets not worry as yet. Though we Hyderabadis like our dishes spicy, even we can find that Chengdu chillies a little too hot to handle. So, the organisers have decided to let off some steam beforehand. Only a little.
Before (or after) burning holes in your mouth, you can also enjoy the uniquely pungent, salty and even strange flavours that make Sichuan one of the world
