REVIEW FOR NURSERY MELA
Ever heard of edu-tainment? Now hear this. There is some eco-tainment waiting to happen, where you can find new additions to your gardens at the Nursery Mela.The Department of Horticulture is organising the Annual Nursery Mela at People's Plaza on Necklace Road. The event is to be inaugurated by our CM, Dr Y S Rajashekhar Reddy. That in itself, is enough to take care of the -tainment bit. Read on for the Eco.
Horticulture Commissioner Anil Punetha intends to educate and spread knowledge among people about topics such as the Green House Technology, Development In Irrigational Technology, Bonsai and various garden accessories. In addition to this will be the regular exhibition-cum-sale. Punetha also believes that it would be the perfect stage for all farmers to discuss and exchange their expertise. Representatives of nurseries from all over India will taking part in the expo.
