If the fact that over 11,000 people are drawn to this festival in a far-flung college near Golkonda, doesn't make it sound like a real whopper of a party to you, forget it! For those who have their antenna up, here is the lowdown on Euphoria.
The three key events that will get the crowds thronging this year are : Devishree Prasad, music-director of Varsham, performing on the 2nd of March with his troupe. The Them Clones a rock-band that has already won massive recognition across rock-festivals in the country is here to perform on the 3rd of March. (Visit www.themclones.com for further details). They will be followd by the group Synapse.
The 3rd of March hosts a classical nite that has prominent singers from the Vasavi Music College and some students of VCE singing classical music to reign in the boisterous mood. A fitting end to the festivities will be brought about by Vasavi's very own fusion ballet, a flagship performance that has audiences in raptures every year.
But these are only the evening's events. Scheduled for the day are:
Slam Bam JAM - Just A Minute
The Euphoria Quiz
