REVIEW FOR ENVISAGE 2008 - A...

The students, together with the faculty, of the University College Of Engineering (Autonomous), are presenting Envisage 2008, an innovation/technical festival, on 11th & 12th January. Organized by the Centre For Creative Technology, it is an endeavor to showcase the humble building blocks of Innovation, Creativity, Envisaging and Technique that attempt to craft engineering & technology entities that are record-breaking and inspiring in grandeur.

Alpha Gaiden
War of the robots.

Robo Soccer
A simple game of football between the robots of two teams.

Water Polo
The game requires putting maximum number of balls in the goal post. It will be played on water with the robots of two teams.

Robo Rash
As per the rules of nature, only the fittest and finest will survive, and the same thing can be seen in this game. Just eliminate the opponent to survive and win this game.

Zoey 101
Pick and place the objects from one place to another place with the help of robots.

Formula-Z
Race the robots. Winner steals all the attention.

Designaire Circuit F-1
This prize is for the best design of racing robots.

Spawn Of Scutter
This event consists of two games - Squat The Bug (debugging of software) and Overhaul (fixing of faulty machines or instruments).

Empresario
Conceptualise futuristic products and present the idea, Newton's way.

Pegasus
A paper presentation event. The topics are related to Advanced Technologies in Engineering & Technology (any branch) and Useful To The Society.

This event is sub-divided into six different games as under:

Alchemists Cauldron - Case-study analysis
Merchant Of Venice - Advertising, sales & promotion game
Horns Of Dilemma - Boardroom wars
Oyez Oyez Oyez - Mock court room
Murder A'la Carte - Solving murder mysteries
Quiz Bowl - Technical & non-technical quiz
Gamer Hardcore - Online gaming from different places

The Fourth World
A working models exhibition on:

1. Water purification using Biotechnology
2. Security for home by using Human Sensors
3. New Technology of agricultural irrigation
4. GIS detect for vehicles
5. Parking System for vehicles
6. Eco-Power generation (Other than Solar)
7. Artificial arm to pick and place the objects
...and any new working model which is related to engineering & technology.
