Drushti - The Creative Revolution is a documentary film festival organized by the Department of Mass Communication and Journalism, St. Francis Degree College for Women. Supported by IDP Education and Apollo Health Street, the event will be held on 28th and 29th November, 2008. Anyone interested in documentary film-making can attend the event.
The festival will open with cultural events, and speeches by the members of the jury. Short films made by students of St. Francis will be screened at the festival, and will be judged by Mani Shankar, a reputed documentary film maker, and Madhu Mahankali, a noted documentary director and a cinematographer. The guests for the event are Rahul Haridas, Nikhil and Vamsi Krishna (of Happy Days fame), Navdeep (of Chandamaama and Gowtham SSC fame) and RJ Anuj (of Radio city). A workshop will be conducted by Mani Shankar on 29th November.
