A group of 4 artists from Nellore are exhibiting their paintings at the Chitramayee State Gallery of Fine Arts, from 25th to 30th November. Titled 'Colours Of Komala', there are a total of 60 paintings on display. The group - N Annapurna, M Jayakrishna, Sk. Ameerjan and Sundara Babu - is from the Komala Art Gallery, Nellore.
Annapurna is doing her BFA in paintings from the DMS LKMS College of Fine Art, Mysore. She is a specialist in Tanjore paintings and decorated craft work. She has participated in several state and national exhibitions and received several awards. Currently, she is the president of Simhapuri Fine Arts Academy, Nellore and is the managing partner of Komala Art Gallery.
M Jayakrishna is doing his BFA in painting from the DMS LKMS College of Fine Art, Mysore. He has participated in many solo and group shows/camps. His works have been appreciated with many prestigious awards. He is a cine cut-out artist.
Sk. Ameerjan is doing his BFA in painting from the DMS LKMS College of Fine Art, Mysore. His masterpiece, Eduru Choopu, fetched him a National Award. He has participated in many solo and group shows/camps, and likes miniature drawings. He is one of the partners of Komala Art Gallery, and is also the General Secretary of the Simhapuri Fine Arts Academy, Nellore.
Sundara Babu is an eminent artist who's doing his BFA in painting from the DMS LKMS College of Fine Art, Mysore. He enjoys painting images of gods and goddesses, specially that of Lord Ganesha. He had exhibited his works at various solo exhibitions and group shows.
