Aadita is voluntary organization, started by Lakshmi Ravindra, for special children with learning disabilities, Dyslexia, and slow learning. She worked with similar organizations in the past, and has enormous experience to her credit. Supported by the dedicated staff, Lakshmi has decided to take Aadita to a different level, thereby helping the needy parents.

Aadita has planned to offer a 2-month certificate course, in remedial intervention strategies for Dyslexia, learning disabilities and slow learning. This is a course specially designed to equip teachers and parents with skills that will enable them to handle their children with learning problems.

Core areas covered under the course:

- learning stragegies for slow learners and children with specific learning difficulties (remedial teaching)
- understanding the learning disabilities and the needs of children's academic, emotional and social learning disabilities
- assessment
- problem and error analysis
- remediation strategies

The course fee will be Rs. 6,500 per head.
