Deccan Chargers will clash with Bangalore Royal Challengers on 25th May, at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium. This appears another of the easy matches that the Chargers get after the one with Mumbai Indians. Royal Challengers has been the weakest team so far in IPL, and is popularly called a test team.
Deccan Chargers is captained by the prolific Indian test batsman V V S Laxman, and the team has big international stars in Australian big-hitter Adam Gilchrist, South African opener Herschelle Gibbs, Pakistani dynamite Shahid Afridi, New Zealand allrounder Scott Styris, Sri Lankan pacers Chaminda Vaas, Nuwan Zoysa, and the reliable Chamara Silva.

Venkatesh Prasad is the coach of the team.
