Shilpa's Dance Academy is conducting a month-long workshop on dance & drama, from 1st May to 31st May, in Hotel Tureeya Grand at Begumpet. The workshop will be in an comfortable air-conditioned ambience, and the training will be by Shilpa Jain, a renowned choreographer of Mumbai and Kolkata, and her team of instructors. The 20-day workshop covers jazz, cha-cha, Western pop, rap, rock 'n' roll, freestyle and traditional Indian dance.
The workshop is for students in the age group 7 to 23, and the classes will be for 4 days in a week. The highlight of the workshop will be when it ends, since SDA will organize a grand students' "Musical Drama" at the end of it all. This event will provide the students a platform to showcase their talents after refining them to a professional level, and will be a mega event held in Hari Hara Kala Bhavan on 1st June '08.
