Bandish Projekt liven up B&C tonite, with some spunky live-mixing of classical fusion.
The Club Nites at Bottles & Chimney gets better this Friday night, with Bandish Projekt mixing some funky music and igniting the dance floors. They who will be taking you on a journey of classical and modern music.
The crew comprises Mayur Narvekar, Udyan Sagar, Mehirr Nath Chopra and Pritesh Varia. Bandish Project maintains a balance between retro, progressive and contemporary music. Based in Ahmedabad, Bandish means a composition of the Indian classical music. The band was officially formed in 2001, but even before then, it had numerous shows to its credit, all over the world.
This performance will feature a wide range of instruments, including mixers, turntables, keyboards and laptops as well as instruments like tabla, djembe, duff, kanjira and doumbek.
