Carnatic Vocal By Sai Sindhu: Events in Hyderabad

REVIEW FOR CARNATIC VOCAL BY SAI...

Shilparamam is presenting a Carnatic vocal recital by G Sai Sindhu, on 20th December, the 6th day of the All-India Crafts Mela. With instrumental support from M V Subrahmanya Prasad on the mridangam and Sashi Bhushan on the violin, Sai Sindhu will start the recital with a Varnam in Navaragamalika ragam, followed by Dikshitar's Vatapi Ganapathim Bhaje in Hindola ragam, Sri Saraswati Namostute in Arabhi ragam, Govardhana Gireesham in Hindola ragam, Ambavani Nannu Aadarinchave in Keeravani ragam, Ranjani Mala in Ragamalika ragam, a Tillana, and other Annamacharya and Ramadas keertanas.

Sai Sindhu is studying in the final year of the Architecture course at Sri Venkateshwara College of Architecture. She was a disciple of Dr. Nookala Chinna Satyanarayana for 11 years, and is at present under Jayamani Narasimham. She's completed her Diploma in Carnatic Music from the Potti Sriramulu Telugu University.

Sindhu was a holder of the Central Scholarship from the Ministry of HRD for 6 years. She even secured three gold medals from the TTD Tirupati for three consecutive years, and once from Annamacharya Bhavana Vahini. She has given concerts for Durgashtami at the Kanaka Durga Temple in Vijayawada, and at the Brahmotsavams in Tirupati and Bhadrachalam, besides innumerable ones in Hyderabad.
