REVIEW FOR LEPAKSHI CHRISTMAS FAIR

The Lepakshi Handicrafts showroom at RTC X Roads is organising an exhibition of handicrafts, handlooms and decorative items for your Christmas and New Year shopping, from 17th to 31st December. A mini-exhibition of about 30 stalls, this display features saris, dress material, tapestry and bed covers in the handloom section; and wall hangings, paintings, showpieces, key chains, marble statues, brass and copperware in the handicrafts section.

The highlights of the exhibition are definitely the Kondapalli and Etikoppaka toys. Then there are the artificial jewelry items such as garnet necklaces, jewelry from semi-precious stones, pearls, ear and finger rings, attracting girls and women.

Special stalls have been set up for the Christmas and New Year requirements, with lot of decorative stuff, such as laquer, plastic and thermacol balls, shining stars and zigzags, small gift boxes and dolls for Christmas trees, big stars for illumination, small Jesus statues and Santa dolls.

There are a couple of stalls displaying handloom dress material and hand-printed readymades, and handloom saris from Venkatagiri, Narayanpet and Pochampally.
