Shilparamam, as part of the Devi Navaratris, is organising a Carnatic vocal recital by Padma Priya Srinivas on 3rd October. Padma Priya will start with a couple of Devi and Annamayya Keerthanas, besides bhajans based on both Carnatic and Hindustani sangeet.

Padma Priya is a graded artiste of the All India Radio, with an MA in Music from Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, under Nedunuri Krishna Murthy. She ha been in the field of music for the last 20 years, teaching her art of music to aspiring music lovers at her institute, Mahati Music School at Yousufguda. She also works as a music teacher in the Delhi Public School in Hyderabad. She has performed on Doordarshan, and at various temples in Bhadrachalam, Machilipatnam, Vijayawada and Basara, besides at Shilparamam and temples in Hyderabad.
